Master STAGES™ RPO 6BF is a colorless, thin-film corrosion inhibitor or corrosion preventer that repels water and can be used on a variety of metals. RPO 6BF provides external corrosion inhibition, excellent protection of bearings and other precision parts or workpieces during parts storage and transportation.
Does not contain barium
Leaves a light film
Excellent corrosion inhibition in dry storage, exceeding up to six months
Does not leave stains
It cleans
Water repellency helps prevent corrosion caused by water trapped under the protective film
Resistance to oxidation damage during long storage
Easily removable with cleaning agents such as Master STAGES™ CLEAN 2029 “One Step”
Moisture test: No corrosion after 650 hours (ASTM D1748)
